A police hunt is under way for the driver of a 250,000 luxury Rolls-Royce who fled the scene after being involved in an expensive collision with a 160,000 Lamborghini.
West Midlands Police were called to the scene in Walsall to find the Rolls-Royce Ghost smashed into the rear of a red Lamborghini Urus on Tuesday.
Images later shared by the police on social media showed the mangled front grill of the Rolls-Royce and the large dent the vehicle had been left with down the side.
The force, who shared details of the crash on Twitter, saidthe driver of the Rolls-Royce had fled the scene.
They wrote: 'Well...this is an expensive crash. I wonder if it was the cost or another reason why the Rolls driver left the scene?
'Either way, we have his photo and will ask him very soon. Driver was not driving for the conditions and obviously can't handle a car like this.'
Following the scenes, social media users took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the collision.
One user wrote: 'Needs to be much greater scrutiny of the firms renting these cars out'
While another added: 'Wow wonder how much to fix that.'
Another person commented: 'Both must have been popping for milk and bread in their everyday ''runner'' cars.'
Meanwhile one user wrote: 'More money than sense.'
And one Twitter user simply added: 'Ouch!'
West Midlands Police told MailOnline no one was injured in the incident but said they would not be commenting further at this moment.
