The President could go on Fox and announce that he’s selling a pardon to Bannon for one meeeeelion dollars and the Supreme Court couldn’t invalidate it. Trump could be impeached and prosecuted for bribery after impeachment, but the pardon would stand.

There’s simply nothing in the Constitution that gives the Court the authority to invalidate a pardon. The pardon power is solely given to the President and the only restriction on it is that they can’t pardon in cases of impeachment. And to be clear, that means they can’t pardon the impeachment itself, not that a President can’t issue pardons if they’re impeached or that they can’t pardon Federal crimes underlying an impeachment.
